About Emmanuel Osei


Dr Emmanuel K. Osei was voted to serve as the President of the South England Conference on April 9th 2017 by the trustees.  Born in Accra, Ghana, Emmanuel travelled to the UK at the age of 6 and received the call to ministry at the age of 21 just before completing his first degree in Electrical Engineering.

Having been accepted to study at Newbold College, Emmanuel went on to complete his ministerial training before pastoring a total of eight churches within the London area and become an ordained minister.  He is married to Laura Osei, a Head Teacher, and they have been blessed with three adult daughters:  Naomi, Danielle & Leah, along with two grandchildren:  Rhianne & Aaron.

A gifted and sought after speaker, Emmanuel has conducted evangelistic campaigns both here in the UK and throughout Africa, USA & the Caribbean.  Apart from his formal post-graduate ministerial training at Newbold College, Emmanuel has also obtained an MA in Mission Studies from Birmingham University and a Doctor of Ministry from Seabury Western Theological Seminary in Chicago, USA.

Dr Osei has taught courses in Adventist tertiary institution Newbold College, both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.  He also teaches summer courses at Valley View University, Ghana.

Emmanuel served as the Ministerial Director of the South England Conference for eight years before being called to serve as the President.  He brings a wealth of experience having worked in ministry for the past 30 years.

In his down time, Emmanuel enjoys playing dominoes with his friends, staying fit and healthy with regular walking and has a real passion for travelling and seeing the world.
