Mission Project Ghana 2017

Project Site: This mission project would be based on an Island -Alorkpem D A Basic school, AdaFoah/ Kasseh Adventist Academy, Kasseh in the Ada District of Ghana -  Ada is a coastal town in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. This town is located along the Volta River. It's also the capital of the Dangme East District.

Volunteers Contribution: Each volunteer is expected to raise about £1500 to cover the cost of their travel, feeding, accommodation and the project cost.

Donations/Decoration: We would be collecting items food/clothing /shoes/books/computers etc and would be donating these items to the Frafraha Orphanage / Osu Children's Home and two other orphanages as well as setting up a computer homework room

Health Care: We are taking with us skilled medical personal who would be leading out in our daily health checks and expo.

Building: We shall help the communities in building projects, to be confirmed by September 2016.

Campaign Sites: We shall be running evangelistic campaigns, led by young people each night at the following centres:  Kasseh in Ada District & Old Ningo in Ningo Zone of Ningo-Prampram District

Tour: The 2 weeks’ mission will conclude with tour visits to the Cape Coast Slave Castle, Kakum National Park-Central Region, Azizanya-AdaFoah there will be time for the youth to exchange ideas with regards to the youth issues that affect them both and how they can support each other on issues such as environmental issues such as recycling and other such campaigns.

A non-refundable deposit of £180 must be paid by 31st December 2016.

This event although it’s been organised by the South England Conference and in collaboration with the TED, It’s opened to all skilled and non- skilled Volunteers inside and outside UK [the international Adventist community]
