About Rosamund Farrell
Rosamond began her professional career as a Personal Assistant in Local Government, dealing with members of the public and their challenges. This helped her listen to others who were struggling with issues in housing and family and gave her an interest in counselling.
Ros joined Cornerstone in 1999 as a Counsellor and in 2007 as a Receptionist, transferring her admin skills to that role. When she qualified as a Counsellor, she was struggling with the decision whether she should remain as an adult counsellor only, but those who know her love for children and young people and her rapport with them, helped decide to specialise in children and young people.
She sincerely believes that family life is a vital part of society, who need urgent attention and support which Cornerstone offers.
Ros is a widow, originally from the beautiful island of Montserrat. She is a mother of two; Natalie and Dean with 6 grandchildren. She loves aerobic exercises, walking, reading, working at her allotment, teasing her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
